Start at the equator and fly north. Find the first transition where the number of squares change. Fill this area as a way of saying, "Don't build here". Use foundation as needed or use "Shift-Enter" place the solar rings around existing veins/water.   Repeat on the southern hemisphere.  These 24 rings of solar panels wrap all the way around the world to provide a consistent supply of power.   Build your factories between the two rings to maximize buildable area near the equator.
