Self-powered, zero byproduct, blackbox for the minimalist.

Takes about 3 stacks of anti-matter fuel rods to boot up. Should be up to 100% efficiency in around 30 minutes but may still have the occasional burp for an hour or so.
PROS:
All raw materials except titanium and silica can be found on your starter world
Orbital collectors aren't needed
No tier 3 tech required - so relatively cheap to build
Did I mention zero excess hydrogen/refined oil/graphite?
Anti-matter power system is crude/coal isolated to prevent interference with the main system
CONS:
Will use about half the crude oil of your starter world
Not proliferated
Will not make you a sandwich
Inputs for the main system (in units per minute):
Dyson power sufficient for 60 critical photons per minute (varies based on your current level of ray receiver efficiency)
1740 Iron
960 Copper
660 Stone
1080 Titanium
1680 Silica
1410 crude (23.5/s)
1710 coal
450 water
Inputs for the power supply (listed for max of 5 rods/min but actually consumes about 3.5 on avg):
Dyson power sufficient for 30 critical photons per minute (varies based on your current level of ray receiver efficiency)
