I painfully computed the ideal ratios of slots in the base to ensure that they're all relative to the number of drops. The computation is a bit weird, but you can see all of my work here in case the rates change: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1YUr85YS6cANSZrZWZR0PE2sm24l7V_BMC85gj6jVoZQ
This means, effectively, you can either use the entire blueprint late game or just copy the actual base and the depots on top of it to have proper sorting at any point in the game (once you unlock the Base, of course).
