Pulled from some half forgotten sci-fi memory, this features four rings in four orbits, positioned so that the inner three rotate at different rates with the axis of rotation within the outer ring. Every now and then, they will all align within the outer ring and when viewed from the equator will seem to disappear! 
Oh, and I put my name on the outer... we've all done that right?
Created using starfi5h's sphere modifier tools and orbit modifier, before the update that put most of that into the vanilla. should still work vanilla though!
