We've all been told of old, ancient, dyson spheres. Built by a race of beings who's been unknown for millions of generations. Stories about how these ancients supposedly harnessed the power of collapsing star. Not only using the energy produced by these stars, but also the gravitational forces surrounding these stars.

Fables told to youngsters with hopes it provides beautiful visions from the backs of their eyes. Tales and rumors spouted by travelers, nonsensical bantering to anyone willing to pull up an ear.

Never once did I believe.....

How is this possible? How is this structure still......here!!!

It looks like both, an implosion and explosion, frozen in time. Huge pieces, endlessly spinning around a still collapsing neutron star. The internal framework is still visible. Giant panels clinging to the remaining form.......It's magnificent!!

Of course, I needed to see if rumors were true. That you could still detect power being supplied by the structure, and to my amazement, 13.7 GW!! Impressive for something millions of years old.

Such an amazing find, and one that now asks, "If one could be found. How many more could there be?"
